CHILD'S PLAY

CHILD'S PLAY For over 20 years, Child’s Play Charity delivers therapeutic games and technology directly to pediatric hospitals to improve patients’ lives through the power of play. Their impressive work is trusted by over 190 hospitals across the globe.

Child's Play provides an extremely useful Therapeutic Video Game Guide featuring therapeutic insights on games and VR Apps-- to help children in hospitals cope with pain, sadness, anxiety, and boredom. Relied upon by Child Life gaming technologists and caretakers alike, this resource, is gifted to their network hospitals.

Through our new partnership, Child's Play generously expands access to this valuable Therapeutic Game Guide to allow children beyond hospital settings to also benefit from these insights-- like those participating in the VR 4 Kids Program and XRIN community.

The games recommended in this guide are curated by researchers at Circana, a market-leading video game research firm, in collaboration with mental health researchers at UCSD providing helpful information indicated for specific symptoms a child may need help coping with.

Caregivers and families can now find this guide and more insights including direct links to these specific, Meta Quest-ready VR Apps HERE on XR Impact Network!

Together, we can meet caregivers, families and children where they are, with the right XR tools to navigate health challenges -- wherever and whenever they need it.
